CREATION

Torso was founded in 2007 by Matt Palmer as a way to allow talented artists to express themselves on the humble and accessable t-shirt. Torso does not have a specific styling for its pieces, and artists are encouraged to do whatever they want, even if it includes playing hockey with imaginary friends.

ARTISTS

Torso artists are carefuly chosen amongst talented t-shirt and print designers and illustrators. If you are reading this because you would like to submit yourself or an artist for consideration, please send an email to service@torso.com.au with some examples and some general info. Places however are very limited.

TORSO BRAND

Torso was dreamed up by Matt as a simple and effective name that communicates what we do. Whilst he would have rather had some kind of dream where he gains super powers, he wrote the name down. Torso was born as a large source of t-shirt news and information and moved on to create our own t-shirts.

The logo is the concept of Matt Palmer passed on to the talented Aussie designer, Leon Ryan. Leon took the sketch and made it look most awesome. The text was added by Matt as a finishing touch.
